HEH serves up contemporary Australian dishes made with fresh catches from the Andaman Sea. To put their restaurant on the map, we were asked to conduct a competitor analysis, develop a social media-centered strategy, and execute all marketing activities in the early stages.

The latest addition to Phuket town’s vibrant food scene, HEH brought something entirely new to the table: dry-aged fish, cooked with an Australian twist. Not many Thais are familiar with Australian cuisine, and there was only a handful of restaurants in Phuket that offered a similar style of cooking. After trying their food and examining local competitors, we realized it was a no-brainer. For restaurant businesses, if the food is good, it all comes down to great photography, strong brand communication, finding the right influencers, collaborating with similar brands, and building momentum to create a snowball effect. And that’s exactly what we did. For HEH, one lifestyle/travel blogger in particular made

so much impact. Surfer’s Holiday is known among Thais for his quality beach and surf content. Although he had a small (but engaged) Facebook fanbase of 100,000 followers, he was connected to a few celebrities, and seemed quite similar in personality to HEH’s Head Chef. We invited him for a free tasting at the restaurant in exchange for some exposure, and as we expected, he loved it and came back with some very famous friends. After that, all we did was make sure to get the brand’s messages across, and maintain the quality of visual content while HEH maintains the quality of food and service.

We serve honestly prepared food and drinks in its simplest form. Treasuring the basics of serving a delicious meal and hosting a good time, we aim to provide enjoyment without over complicating.
Just simple ingredients cooked well and done right—with a touch of excitement.

We work with local fishermen to bring you some of the best catches, but keep in touch with Australia through our dishes and imported ingredients. Our ever-changing a la carte menu highlights these ingredients, drawing inspiration from Melbourne—a city of diverse, trendy, and very tasty food.

Fish Butchery

HEH works closely with Thai fishermen like Ko Tan in Tublamu to bring you some of the Andaman’s best catches. We dry-age and process our fish in-house to intesify the flavour profile of each species. Reducing moisture and breaking down enzymes within the protein tenderises the meat, adds complexity and raises delicious, umami levels, resulting in an elevated cooking and dining experience.
