Originally known for non-invasive tattoo removals, Dr. TATTOF launched a trio of body perfecting laser treatments in 2019 and asked us to help promote their new treatments to tourists, expats, and English-speaking Thais. In 2 years, they grew from 5 to 10 locations.
Dr. TATTOF evolved from a laser tattoo removal chain to an aesthetic laser specialist, gaining market share without the help of a marketing team. They used local celebrities and large discounts to appeal to their customer base which consisted of both middle and upper-middle class Thais, but by the end of 2019, they realized it was time to explore new strategies in order to gain prospects with higher purchasing power. As part of the new strategy, we connected the client with medical and wellness tour operators who work with Middle Eastern travelers and initiated collaboration with health and beauty influencers from Dubai, hosting them in
Bangkok (in cooperation with Akyra Thonglor Bangkok Hotel) and offering free/discounted treatments in exchange for 3 weeks of social media posts. We produced 5 product videos which was broadcasted online and on digital billboards. To increase search engine visibility, we wrote and shared press releases across 65 online lifestyle and tourism media outlets. We re-wrote their English web copy and connected them with print publications for the English-speaking community in Thailand. The client was satisfied with the strategy and our role in the execution of the project.
